The "SYZ & CO 2010 Moth European Championships" took place this year from 15 to 21 August on Silvaplana Lake in the Swiss Alps near St-Moritz, a well-known spot with superb wind conditions.
Banque SYZ & CO, who is already supporting several racing boats as well as the Leman Sailing Speed Records on Lake Geneva, was Title Sponsor of the event. Two foiling Moths bearing the Bank's colours took part in the competition and challenged the world's best sailors.
Arnaud Psarofaghis, at the helm of one of these two boats, arrived in second place in European Championship and finished fifth in the Open category. |
