Following its annual general meeting, ALTIN AG,the alternative investment company listed in London and Switzerland, announced an investment performance of +16.30%1 for 2007, distinctly above the average for funds of hedge funds (the HFR Funds of Funds Composite Index gained 10.25% in 2007) and far stronger than leading stock-market indices (see table below). This outperformance is the result of an alternative management expertise honed and developed over more than eleven years and of a unique portfolio that combines a strong core of blue-chip hedge funds and more specialist managers. In addition, ALTIN’s share price growth did even better than its investment performance, gaining +28.06% in 2007 and enabling the Company to end the year with a 2.8% premium. Thanks to its structure as a closed-end listed investment company, ALTIN allows its manager to make long-term investment choices while offering the public a liquid and easily accessible investment vehicle.
