SYZ Translémanique en Solitaire

SYZ Translémanique en Solitaire

The SYZ "Translémanique en Solitaire" is Lake Geneva's most demanding solo regatta and the longest solo race on an enclosed surface in the world.

Since its creation by Gérald-A. Piaget in 1974, the Translémanique en solitaire has been one of Lake Geneva's main events of the sailing season. Its winners include the best Lake Geneva sailors and renowned competitors in international sailing.

Solo handling of racing sailboats is a demanding challenge which requires excellent knowledge of the sailboat. Il also means getting to grips with Lake Geneva's weather patterns, while demonstrating patience, endurance, courage and physical strength. More than any other race, the SYZ Translémanique en Solitaire means pushing your limits.
